Company Description
Newgrove Pharmacy is an online distance selling pharmacy based in Bromsgrove, offering a customer friendly service to ensure fast and reliable deliveries of medicinal cannabis products prescribed for patients by specialist practitioners.
We are looking for a full-time (37.5hrs) or part-time (flexible) permanent dispenser in a non-patient facing role to work alongside and supporting the pharmacist within the dispensary, which will be offered after a successful completion of the probationary period.
Role Description
This is a full-time (37.5hrs) on-site role for a Pharmacy Dispenser located in Bromsgrove. The Pharmacy Dispenser will be responsible for the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, managing stock of medication and providing high-quality customer service. Day-to-day tasks include working with pharmacy technicians and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities include:
· Dispensing of private Controlled Drug (CD) prescriptions (FP10PCD)
· Providing a friendly and courteous customer service
· Arranging deliveries of medication
· Able to liaise with clinics and prescribers professionally to maintain out high service standards.
· Ordering and management of pharmacy stock
· Taking part in stock rotation and expiry date checks
· Complying with the Standard Operating Procedures
· Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
This list is not exhaustive and you may be required to perform other tasks as required by the responsible pharmacist and/or Superintendent.
A successful applicant:
· Must have an NVQ2 dispenser qualification and have at least 1 years’ experience working as a dispenser.
· Should have knowledge and experience of dispensing private CD (Controlled Drug) prescriptions.
· Should have experience of using RxWeb patient record software (however this is not essential)
· Must have good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel)
· Must work well with the pharmacy team and
· Must have strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
· Be able to work autonomously and manage their own tasks and responsibilities
· Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to build good relationships with the customers
· A dynamic individual who is able to grow and develop as the pharmacy business grows.
