The Role in short
Hunter & Gather is looking for a Demand & Supply Planning Coordinator to support all planning, supply, and stock activities across the business.
This is a detail-heavy, highly collaborative operations role. You will help maintain the demand and supply plan, place purchase orders, monitor stock levels, reconcile SKUs across 3PLs and co-manufacturers, and support new product launches. You will work closely with suppliers, 3PL partners, and internal teams across sales, finance, and operations.
What You’ll Do
* Support the Procurement & Demand Planning Manager in maintaining and updating the demand plan and supply plan
* Communicate finished goods and component forecasts to suppliers and co-manufacturers
* Help prepare monthly forecast variance and accuracy reports, identifying root‑cause issues to discuss with the sales team
* Liaise with the sales team to gather inputs and validate forecasts so the plan reflects the latest information and insight
* Support the supply side of new product launches, from component planning through to first production runs
* Place purchase orders based on the production plan
* Monitor order fulfilment, track lead times and help ensure customer requirements are met on time
* Conduct monthly stock reconciliations across finished and component SKUs at 3PLs and co‑manufacturers
* Build trusted supplier relationships through regular check‑ins and occasional site visits
* Work closely with sales, marketing, finance and operations to share the most up‑to‑date supply and stock picture
* Embrace AI tools and modern ways of working to improve efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement in planning
What success looks like in 12 months
* Demand and supply planning rhythms are clear, accurate and well‑maintained
* Forecasts are more reliable, and the business can plan stock and supply with greater confidence
* Stock reconciliations across 3PLs and co‑manufacturers are organised, consistent and controlled
* Purchase orders are placed clearly and on time, with cost, cover and price breaks properly balanced
* New product launches are supported with strong component planning and early risk flagging
* Internal teams have a clearer, more current view of supply, stock and fulfilment priorities

* Exposure to food, beverage or supplements businesses
* Understanding of a Keto/Paleo lifestyle
