About us: The Canbury Arms is a popular local pub in Kingston upon Thames. Our menus feature the best in British seasonal dishes, alongside a wide selection of real ales, craft beers, cocktails, and an extensive wine list. Being a Head Chef at Young's: We believe each pub should be unique. As Head Chef, you'll craft your own recipes that align with your pub's food vision, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. This could include showcasing local produce, country pub classics, seafood, small plates, sharers, or dry-aged meat—each pub is different, and your creativity is encouraged.
Responsibilities include:
* Championting excellent service through quality food as a Head Chef or Sous Chef
* Leading and developing a team with passion
* Managing kitchen staff rota, training, and health & safety effectively
* Designing and delivering new dishes for menus and specials
* Maintaining effective controls regarding GP and labour through planning and organisation
* Driving sales and growth by engaging with kitchen and front of house teams
