Senior Insight Manager / Insight Manager
(Responsible to Insight Director)

The Role In A Nutshell
You will be an Insight Manager with quantitative experience and qualitative literacy. Comfortable with the research fundamentals whilst embracing the opportunities that change within the industry is bringing; ultimately framing the right decision, triangulating evidence across sources and moving at pace.
You’ll be a researcher who embraces delivering all types of research work iteratively to drive successful project, client and commercial outcomes. You’ve earned your stripes through experience and know how to effectively and proactively manage clients. Externally you’ll be seen as a ‘go-to’ by clients on any project, with excellent working relationships. Internally, you can take charge of suppliers whilst also delivering high end analysis & deliverables.
In practice, you will act as a trusted decision partner with clients – shaping briefs before they are written, building the right approach (not a reactive ‘product sell’), and translating evidence into clear choices, trade-offs and next steps. Close relationships with our clients is key - you will bring a concierge mindset: proactive communication, excellent stakeholder management, and executive-ready outputs.
Hours of work – 30 to 37.5 hours per week. Once agreed at a total weekly level, hours can, to a large extent, be worked flexibly – around school pick up, for example.
Place of work, Southam, however some working from home is possible.
Specific Skills / Qualifications
· Experience and confidence in both quantitative and qualitative workstreams
· Strong written & verbal communication skills
· Very organised and experienced at prioritizing and managing projects across a broad range of methodologies.
· Intuitive and emotionally intelligent
· Proven ability to build strong client relationships and fully understand their needs.
· Passionate about brands and advertising.
· Highly experienced & with proven skills in MS Office – particularly Powerpoint & Excel, with experience of database management within Excel.
· An ability and desire to immerse yourself in projects and generate the killer insights that will change our clients’ businesses, and land them in such an engaging manner that compels them to act.
· Strong problem framing and scoping skills - can unpick ambiguity through to clear action
· Desire to push yourself into a brand & advertising planning role, as well as Insight generation.

· Able to effectively manage suppliers
· Responsible for delivering projects to agreed timelines and communicating to manage resource internally as efficiently as possible
· Ability and know-how to scope out and manage bigger, more complicated projects ensuring that at each stage the team and suppliers are clear on the brief, requirements and timescales
· An ability to work both in a team and independently to hit deadlines when timings are tight
Consultancy & Influence
· Highly effective working relationships with clients
· Be seen as a trusted adviser and the one to turn when a new project arises
· Pro-active, highly engaged with a client’s business and takes full ownership of projects
· Works to always understand the ‘question behind the question’ and the bigger picture from the client perspective
· Looks to understand the culture of the client business to help Sparkminds land insight results in as impactful way as possible
· Can spot the bigger briefs and opportunities for incremental work for the agency
Deliverables
· Work with data to find the key stories for each project
· Create exceptional deliverables that bring insights to life
Entrepreneurialism
· Actively find ways to grow accounts to increase the scope of our relationship and work with clients.
· Always looking to remain at the forefront of research & insight techniques and NPD
· Maximise opportunities on accounts by developing client relationships, sounding out proactive ideas relevant to a client’s business and having a keen antenna for potential new projects

Remuneration
· Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 (FTE) depending on experience
· Pension contributions matched up to 5%
· Annual and spot bonus based on company performance, up to 15% of salary
· 30 days holiday on a FTE basis
· 3 days Christmas shut down
· Mobile phone and laptop
· Health / life / death in service insurance available on a salary sacrifice basis
