Attendance Assistant – Oldham
A dedicated and passionate administration assistant is required to work at a popular secondary school in Oldham, to join them on a full-time basis, on an ongoing, likely to be for the full academic year on a full-time basis.
This role will involve performing general administrative duties to support the smooth running of the school office and helping others with their workload. In the position you will have to handle phone calls, emails and inquiries from students, parents, and staff. You will have to collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure efficient school operations by maintaining records and updating data. You must have computer skills to use the systems within the school.
The position will be ideal for an experienced and knowledgeable office member that has an understanding of the inner workings of a school. This is a role for an admin member that will be overseeing behaviour in school, helping to track behaviour in the school and helping to coordinate staff. An understanding of excel will help with the ability to track and experience of SIMs. The role may include calling parents in relation to detentions being created, or other disciplinary actions. There may be opportunities to visit students to check why they are not turning up to school.

Minimum rate of pay – from £90 per day.
Hours – 8:30am – 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree educated with a good classification
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £
