Are you ready to step up and support operational excellence in a fast-paced warehousing environment?
You will play a crucial role in leading the nightshift operations across inbound (intake, packaging,yard) and outbound (despatch) ensuring all goods are received, stored, picked, packed and depatched accurately and efficiently to meet operational targets and customer requirements, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and driving continuous improvements to meet production targets.
What You'll Do:
* Oversee the receipt, storage, handling, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
* Monitor workflows and take proactive steps to resolve bottlenecks and delays.
* Ensure customer orders are processed accurately, on time, and to quality standards.
* Support stock control, ensuring accurate recording, allocation, and movement of goods.
* Maintain correct completion of documentation (delivery notes, logs, tracking, system updates).
* Conduct team briefings to communicate shift plans, targets, and updates.
* Act as the key link between operatives and the Section Manager, ensuring clear information flow.
* Enforce safe working practices and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in warehouse, intake, packaging, or despatch operations.
* Proven leadership ability in a fast-paced, operational environment.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Knowledge of warehouse health, safety, and hygiene standards.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Basic IT skills, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
