Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you will gain valuable hands on experience in costing, financial reporting, inventory management, and business analysis across our UK manufacturing sites. What You'll Learn
As a Costing Analyst Apprentice, you will support the Costing & Stock Manager and wider Finance Team while developing practical skills in:
1. Production reporting and data analysis
2. Financial reconciliations and journal postings
3. Inventory and stock control processes
4. Month end accounting procedures
5. Variance analysis and financial reporting
6. Audit support and compliance processes
7. Working with finance systems and business data
Key Responsibilities
8. Assist the Costing & Production Recording Team with reporting, analysis, and spreadsheet preparation.
9. Support the preparation of costing analysis for Sales, Finance, Production, and Technical teams.
10. Help create and maintain Bills of Materials and update standard costs across multiple manufacturing sites.
11. Assist with monthly management accounts, accruals, journals, and reconciliations.
12. Support inventory audits and stock checks across UK sites.
13. Learn and support production finance processes and reporting requirements.
14. Assist with the administration and auditing of the Change Management System.
15. Contribute to finance projects aimed at improving processes, efficiency, and accuracy.
16. Build relationships with colleagues across Finance, Production, Logistics, and other business functions.

Essential
23. GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above
