About The Role
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, with flexibility needed to suit business and training needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide training to new and existing colleagues on the cleaning specification that have been agreed between OCS & Encirc.
* Identify & address any areas of retraining.
* Ensure quality / cleaning audits are conducted as per contractual agreement.
* Provide motivation to onsite teams to ensure standards are maintained.
* Attend site pre joint audit and following joint audits to ensure standards are up to standard or corrective action is taken (where applicable).
* Attend joint audits with the client (where applicable).
* Ensure H&S regulations are always met by the onsite teams and report any issues to the onsite Soft Services Manager and client where required.
* Provide regular and in-depth feedback to the management team.
* Assist in recruitment for the cleaning division onsite by advertising the roles, conducting interviews and overseeing the onboarding process.
* Work with the Soft Services Manager to revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
* Monitor the training matrix to ensure full compliance of all required training elements across the contract.
* Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.
* Prepare reports for senior management, client and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
* Carry out monthly refresher training with onsite cleaning teams.
* Work with the Soft Services Manager to examine and improve auditing processes to prevent compliance related issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
* Monitor all aspects of quality compliance and training across the contract, and report back any issues/ findings to wider management team as required.
* Review holiday and sickness and arrange relevant cover with trained casual workers and agency staff.
* Run weekly payroll reports to ensure 100% accuracy.
* Daily checks of Timegate system to ensure staff are clocking in and out for their shifts.
* Approve agency timesheets in Indeed Flex System.
Candidate Specification:
* In-depth knowledge of the cleaning industry's standards and regulations.
* Excellent knowledge of cleaning procedures and record keeping.
* Be able to communicate effectively to all levels of the contract team and the clients team.
* IOSH certification would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Strong training experience.
* Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
* Experience of working within the cleaning industry.
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
