Overview
Reeson Education is recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in the M22 postcode. This is a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role, supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 with varying levels of need. The position is available immediately and will run until the end of the school year, with the potential for further opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality support both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring all pupils have the best possible learning experience.
* Work with children with a range of SEN needs, delivering 1:1 and group interventions, supporting classroom activities, and helping to develop social, emotional, and academic skills.
* Support pupils with a variety of needs across KS1 and KS2.
* Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to aid learning and development.
* Assist in the classroom to ensure smooth lesson delivery.
* Support pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, and other additional needs.
* Help with personal, social, and emotional development.
* Promote inclusion, engagement, and positive behaviour.
* Work alongside teachers and other staff to deliver tailored support.
* Assist with preparing resources and setting up activities.
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers on pupil development.
* Be a reliable and consistent presence for pupils as a Teaching Assistant.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience in supporting KS1 and KS2 pupils with SEN.
* Adaptable, patient, and passionate about helping children succeed.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
* Commitment to full-time, long-term work from 8:30am to 3:45pm.
Additional information
Salary: GBP 13.69 - 15.87 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:45pm, 30-minute lunch break
