Job Title: Employment Tax Assistant Manager
Location: City of London - 2 days in the office, 3 days from home
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience) + benefits!
The Opportunity:
I'm seeking an experienced Employment Tax Assistant Manager to join an expanding team, where you'll manage a diverse client portfolio while developing your advisory skills and leadership capabilities. You'll be at the heart of the employment tax practice, managing the full compliance cycle while spotting opportunities to add value through advisory work.
Your Responsibilities:
* Manage annual employment tax compliance including P11Ds, PSA, STBV and ERS reporting
* Oversee year-end reporting and ensure timely, accurate deliverables
* Support due diligence and policy reviews
* Provide technically robust advice on pay and benefits, employee status, and payroll compliance
* Identify and develop advisory opportunities from your compliance work
* Build strong client relationships and understand their commercial needs
* Supervise and mentor junior team members
* Guide technical development and ensure quality standards
