Hello, my name is Jon and I am the AHP Professional Lead for Inpatient CAMHS. I am delighted to share with you the opportunity for you to join our Speech and Language Therapy Team within inpatient services. This opportunity has arisen due to the recent expansion of the team.
Our Speech and Language Therapy Team are seeking a resilient, enthusiastic, and dedicated therapist to join the team. This is your chance to be part of an innovative, creative and compassionate service providing exceptional care to adolescents with complex mental health needs. As part of the team, you will provide specialist input across the trusts Inpatient CAMHS Units and Secure Children's home.

Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs, using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
* Plan, update and deliver training in response to service need.
* Participate in the planning, development and evaluation of the speech and language therapy services.
* Regularly supervise speech and language therapy students on practice placement.
* Develop skills and knowledge through participation in relevant training & learning opportunities.
