Legal Associate | 12-month Fixed Term Contract | Edinburgh
Organisation: A global leader in investment management and financial services, serving institutional and retail clients in over 30 countries, holding a strong presence in key global markets.
Role: As Legal Associate, you will review private fund documentation (including LPAs, side letters, MFNs, Subscription Agreements and PPMs), analyse legal fees and terms data using standard templates, identify non‑standard legal drafting, missing documents and interpretation issues, support FAIR validation and client reporting through accurate legal analysis, and work closely with senior lawyers and operations teams to deliver high‑quality report outputs.
Skills Required:
* Qualified solicitor at least 3 years PQE
* Experience reviewing complex legal agreements
* Strong attention to detail and structured analytical skills
* Interest in private markets and fund documentation
* Comfortable working a process driven, high volume environment
