GSL Education are seeking a passionate Drama Teacher to work with schools in Barnsley, including the S70 and S71 areas, delivering engaging lessons that build confidence, creativity, and communication skills. As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons that encourage students to explore performance, develop acting techniques, and express ideas in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Main Responsibilities: Deliver engaging Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum. Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression through performance. Support students in developing acting, voice, and movement skills. Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Support school productions and extracurricular drama activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a school setting. Strong communication and classroom management skills. A passion for the performing arts and student development. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
