We are seeking a motivated and well-organised Industry Placement Coordinator to join our Employer Services team. The role will focus on supporting students undertaking different T-Level subjects with their mandatory industry placements.
Salary: £31,142 - £33,197 per annum
Hours per week: 37
Weeks per annum: 52
Working pattern: M7.5, T7.5, W7.5, T7.5, F7
Location: Abingdon Campus
Contract type: Permanent
We are seeking a motivated and well-organised Industry Placement Coordinator to join our Employer Services team. The role will focus on supporting students undertaking different T-Level subjects with their mandatory industry placements.
Responsibilities
* Maintain strong relationships with local and regional employers.
* Match students to suitable placement opportunities in line with their course and career aspirations.
* Provide guidance and coaching to students on employability skills, professional behaviour and workplace expectations through the delivery of a work readiness program.
* Monitor and support students throughout their placements to ensure a positive experience for both employer and learner.
* Ensure placements meet all safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
Essential Experience
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong organisational and administrative ability.
* Ability to engage effectively with both young people and employers.
* Knowledge of employability skills.
Qualifications (if applicable)
* Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant subject (Business, Education, Careers, etc.) is desirable.
* Experience of working in an educational or careers setting is an advantage.
