We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to be based at Rhinefield House Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Known locally as the 1 Jewel in the Forest', Rhinefield House is an award-winning luxury hotel steeped in natural beauty, hidden deep within the New Forest National Park. Rhinefield House is proud to be the only AA four red star hotel in the New Forest. The hotel has 50 bedrooms, including three feature suites, an outdoor pool, a small health suite and a 2 AA Rosette fine dining restaurant & bar. It is a popular wedding and Afternoon Tea venue with beautiful gardens and grounds.
Overview
About the role:
* The role of Sales Manager will involve proactively driving sales activities to the hotel across all sectors including hotel events, private dining, leisure experiences, corporate and conference from a local perspective.
* Work with local destination houses and partners from a B2B and B2C perspective.
* Support the development, execution, and maintenance of the hotel and Hand Picked Hotels sales and marketing plan.
* Responsible for pro-actively manage social media on property, looking at ways to engage with the local community, raise awareness and engagement.
* Be a confident and effective networker who can build relationships externally and internally.
* Making clear, confident decisions will be second nature, consulting with others where needed to ensure alignment on goals.
Qualifications / Requirements
* To be considered for this role you will have current proactive sales experience within a 4/5-star luxury hotel or similar environment.
* Essential you are driven, can act on your own initiative where appropriate and enjoy working within a proactive sales role with set targets and objectives.
* Demonstrate a methodical approach and be highly organised with a systematic approach to work.
* Excellent communication, presentation skills and attention to detail.
* Professional, organised and friendly approach with the ability to anticipate guests' needs and create memories.
* It is essential you have your own transport and can travel as required.

* Competitive salary package of £40,000 per year, plus an uncapped sales bonus; business mileage will be paid.
