Overview
Arrow Direct is a family owned Haulage and Courier company based in Leicester. We are seeking a team member to join our sales force to promote growth and develop business by building strong customer relationship by expanding our market presence.
The role centres around creating new business opportunities for our busy logistics business. Relationship building and creating opportunities with prospective clients is your key focus. You will be responsible for generating leads by identifying local and national commercial opportunities in the multi-carrier, same day and fulfilment market. A proactive approach will be required through various methods including outbound calls, emails and marketing campaigns, LinkedIn and social media. You will engage with non-trading clients and be confident in overcoming objections.
Duties:
* Cold calling, lead generation and customer appointments.
* Arrange face-to-face meetings with key decision makers
* Onboarding and setup of new customer accounts
* Build and maintain a good working relationship with customers and suppliers.
* Process bookings from customer by phone/email
* Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo
* Participate in team meetings to share insights and discuss challenges.
Required Skills:
* Good Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office .
* Knowledge of General Haulage and Pallet Distribution
* Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask.
* Excellent organisational skills, problem solving and communication skills both written and verbal.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Able to work as part of a team, where everyone contributes to the success of the company or organisation.
Pay: £22,000.00-£40,000.00 pa ote (negotiable)
