Henley Regatta — Monday 29th June to Sunday 5th July 2026. Regatta is a six-day event set in the grounds of Phyllis Court Club, on the banks of the River Thames.

Compensation
* £13.65 per hour
Responsibilities
* Stewards are responsible for directing attendees to the right location, pointing out amenities, and contributing to a happy, vibrant atmosphere to keep the Regatta running.
* Maintain the image of public areas, clearing glasses, plates and cutlery inside and out to the dedicated wash-up areas. The role involves walking, standing, and bending, and may also involve lifting and carrying heavy items.
* The role is very hands-on; a can-do, proactive approach is essential.
* You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this role.
* You must be available for work for the full 7-day period between 29th June and 5th July 2026, with early shifts starting as early as 09:00 and late shifts ending as late as midnight.

Duties And Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service and assist customers at the event.
* Assist with movement of equipment or materials during set up and break down of events.
* Ensure the health and well-being of all customers.
* Use communication equipment, if required, in accordance with Phyllis Court guidelines.
* Act in a professional manner at all times whilst representing Phyllis Court Club.
Qualifications, Skills And Behaviours You Will Need
* Ability to lift, carry and stand on your feet for 8 to 10 hours each day.
* Ability to follow instructions.
* Ability to work long hours.
* Ability to work as a team in a public facing environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Ensure a smart image and appearance at all times, adhering to the dress policy.
* Ability to make balanced decisions and stay calm in an emergency.
* Ability to use initiative and work independently without direct supervision.
Uniform Requirements
Black trousers, white dress shirt or blouse, black socks and sensible black shoes for duration of Regatta.
Legal/Eligibility
All candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence of this in line with government guidance. Successful completion of probationary period is also subject to satisfactory DBS disclosure and references.
