We've come a long way, join us to play a key role in the next step of our incredible journey What are we looking for As ITM Power's operations increase on a global scale, the aftersales function will increasingly generate revenue for the business through efficient and cost-effective implementation of new electrolysers on customer sites alongside a portfolio of maintenance and in-service support contracts. To achieve this in a global marketplace, we have an opportunity for highly efficient and knowledgeable customer support capability including day to day management of ITM Power's in-service aftersales contracts. The Customer Account Manager within ITM Power will champion post electrolyser deployment client relationships to grow ITM Power's prominent position in the market. Due to the international nature of our rapidly developing business, flexible working patterns may be required with the necessity for occasional early starts or late finishes to facilitate client interfaces in different time zones. The role holder may also need to travel internationally in the execution of their duties. Applicants must therefore have no restriction on international travel. Responsibilities Proactively managing a selection of ITM's existing customers Understanding those customers key drivers for ITMs aftersales product offering with a view to maximising revenue from each project Engaging ITM's Project Managers during the site implementation phase of projects to establish ongoing customer relationships that ensure a smooth handover to the Aftersales business Working closely with ITM Power's Sales and Business Development teams as well as relevant heads of department and senior managers to develop and execute contracts for ongoing support services across ITM's existing customer base Following up on completed site visits with issuance of site reports, ensuring quoting of additional works and the triggering of invoices Day to day client communications and queries in order to offer a positive customer experience Ensure contractual obligations are correctly communicated with internal stakeholders to facilitate the fulfilment of these obligations Liaising and working with ITM's third party service partner contractors Producing Quotations, varying from early-stage directional information to providing more detailed proposal documents Conducting commercial discussions and meetings with existing and potential clients including preparation and delivery of presentations Sales order management using Dynamics F&O Liaise with internal functions to facilitate delivery of spare parts orders About You Knowledge and Experience Engineering background and familiarity with the hydrogen industry would be beneficial Computer literate with good use of software programmes, including MS Office, MS Dynamics and Salesforce CRM, or similar platforms Experience of commercial negotiations and commercial risk assessment Excellent commercial acumen Excellent verbal & written communication skills and excellent fluency in English, Business proficient in German language would be advantageous Skills and Abilities Solution focused, with the ability to work on your own initiative and set your own priorities Able to develop a good technical understanding of complex systems and products What can we offer you Our competitive salary package includes an excellent contributory pension, 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and a wider range of benefits including: Buy as you earn (BAYE) share scheme Birthday holiday Holiday Purchase Cycle to work scheme Lifestyle Discounts Employee Assistance Programme Health Cash Plan Eye Care Gym Scheme Life assurance EV Car Leasing Enhanced Parental Leave Motor Save Scheme Tech Save Scheme Onsite parking including free electric car charging points We know your career is important to you, it's important to us too, which is why we also offer opportunities for you to grow and develop your career.
