A small, welcoming primary school in Croydon is seeking a confident and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with complex needs.
The RoleThis is a full-time position supporting a young child with significant behavioural and learning needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support both in and out of the classroom. The role involves managing challenging behaviour, helping to de-escalate situations when necessary, and offering consistent emotional and academic support.
The ideal candidateThe school is looking for an individual who is confident, patient, and proactive — someone who can build trust and rapport with the child while maintaining clear boundaries and structure.
