Locum Consultant Anaesthetist – TACC (Theatres/Anaesthetics/Critical Care)
Be among the first 25 applicants. Applications are invited for Locum Consultant Anaesthetists to join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. This is a fixed‑term post of 12 months with 10 Programme Activities: 9 Direct Clinical Care PAs and 1 Supporting Professional Activities PA.
The post holder will work flexibly to maintain, deliver and develop a broad range of anaesthetic skills. Responsibilities include elective and emergency work within general theatres—Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Vascular, ENT, Renal Access and Transplant, Urology and Emergency Surgery—across Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Gartnavel General Hospital and the Victoria Hospital.
Applicants must have full GMC registration, a licence to practise and be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. UK‑trained candidates should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within six months of confirmed entry from the interview date. Non‑UK‑trained applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.
