Hours: 18 hours per week; Shift pattern: two nights per week (22:00-07:00) with alternative weekends required.
We are seeking a Care Worker to support residents in their independent apartments. The role involves following care plans and building relationships with residents and colleagues. No travel between sites.
Responsibilities
* Support residents with household tasks such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, and payment of bills.
* Prepare and serve meals, drinks and snacks as needed.
* Assist residents with personal care – washing, bathing, dressing, undressing, and bedtime routines.
* Ensure medication is taken as prescribed.
* Encourage and enable residents to follow agreed care plans.
* Maintain resident wellbeing and provide extra support to help residents live their best lives.
* Inform managers and key agencies of progress and changes.
Qualifications and skills
* Kind, friendly, and a good communicator with written and verbal English skills.
