A Personal Support Assistant is required to support an almost 18-year-old man who has cerebral palsy affecting all four limbs and requires 100% adult care.
He is doubly incontinent, non-verbal, has a PEG for extra fluids, feeding using his various equipment, he is not mobile therefore the home is fully adapted with lifts, hoists etc. Bedtime regime (helping adjust position), personal care, medication administration, companionship and trips out.
Moving & Handling, experience an advantage
A driver is preferred but not essential.
Hours are on Tuesday & Thursday (20 hours)
Rate of pay is £15.65 per hour
Occasional sleepovers @ £87.20 per 10 hours.
Also required is extra support on an Ad hoc basis for weekends for trips out with mum. Possibly Saturday mornings
Overnights could be for either PA
A DBS is required for this position
