We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to a 16-bed Acute inpatient Mental Health ward within the rural area of Argyll and Bute.
Working in a remote and rural area like Argyll & Bute offers a unique opportunity to work within dynamic teams amidst some of the most beautiful and breath-taking landscapes in the UK.
The ward provides a varied experience within Mental Health and collaborates closely with community and emergency care practitioners.
As a Band 6, you should have good communication skills, the ability to prioritize, work safely and effectively, and be a team player.
You will be required to manage the shift as the nurse in charge and deputize for the Band 7 when needed.
Argyll & Bute offers a wide range of activities within a stunning landscape, suitable for both singles and families. Attractions include the islands of Islay, Mull, and Jura, which draw visitors of all ages, from nature lovers to whisky enthusiasts, as well as towns like Oban and Inveraray.
This is a permanent position, 37 hours per week, working in accordance with service requirements.
