We are looking for a passionate and motivated Sous Chef to join our friendly team in a busy, fresh-food country pub kitchen. We will also happily consider applications from Junior Sous and Commis Chefs who are eager to learn, grow, and take the next step in their career.
We are a welcoming country pub known for serving quality, freshly prepared dishes with a focus on seasonality and hearty, flavoursome food. Our team is dedicated to delivering excellent dining experiences in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
As part of our kitchen team, you will
* Support the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen.
* Assist with menu development, prep, cooking, and service.
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
* Ensure health, safety, and hygiene regulations are met.
* Help train and mentor junior staff (if applying as Sous/Junior Sous).
