Work At Height Instructor – PASMA, IPAF, Ladder Association
About the Role
Kentec Training Ltd is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Work at Height Instructor to join our expert training team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, accredited training to our delegates across the construction, utilities, and industrial sectors. You will play a key role in ensuring learners gain the competence, confidence, and safety awareness needed to work effectively at height.
You’ll deliver a range of nationally recognised training courses – including PASMA, IPAF, Ladder Association, Safety Harness, and related work at height disciplines – at our purpose-built training centres in Tonbridge and Ashford, as well as at client sites primarily in South East England. As part of our Trainee Instructor Program, we will guide and develop your skillset to expand the library of courses you can teach and provide you with a tangible sense of career progression.

Ideal Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone who:
 * Has strong communication and presentation skills
 * Can engage learners of all backgrounds in both classroom and practical environments
 * Possesses excellent organisational and time management skills
 * Demonstrates a proactive approach to maintaining compliance and quality standards
 * Is confident working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
Previous experience delivering accredited training courses, such as PASMA, IPAF, Ladder Association, or similar, is highly desirable.
Ideal Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants should ideally hold:
 * Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification
 * PASMA Instructor Certification
 * IPAF Instructor Certification
 * Ladder Association Instructor Certification
 * A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
Additional qualifications such as BAF Abrasive Wheels Instructor, Face Fit Tester, or CAT & Genny Instructor would also be advantageous.
