Here's what you'll do during a typical day: - Team of 9 chefs - Oversee kitchen operations: Manage food preparation, presentation, and production while ensuring quality, safety, sanitation, and cost control to maximize efficiency and profitability - Manage administrative functions: Oversee kitchen systems, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and team member operations - Ensure ingredient quality: Select, inspect, and utilize high-quality food and beverage products, including meats, seafood, produce, and seasonings - Enhance menu offerings: Create and implement new dishes and seasonal menus to elevate the dining experience - Lead a high-performing team: Supervise and support team members, recruit new talent, monitor development and performance, provide coaching and foster a positive and productive work environment - Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing What are we looking for? - Strong Sous Chef/ Assistant Kitchen Manager or previous Head Chef/ Kitchen Manager experience - Approaches food in a creative way - Strong supervisory skills - Positive attitude - Good communication skills - Committed to delivering a high level of customer service - Excellent grooming standards - Excellent planning and organizing skills - Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
