We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team on Prysor Ward. The individual will be working alongside other members of staff on a day and night shift pattern.
The role involves providing nursing care for a variety of patients on a busy stroke unit and delivering high standard of patient care with compassion and empathy.
Main duties of the job
* Assist in providing high standard patient care, caring and compassionate approach.
* Support the patient with personal care and hygiene needs.
* Encourage nutritional intake.
* Monitor observations and accurately document information.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Qualifications / Experience
* Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in a stroke or acute care setting preferred.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
