Quantity Surveyor

Randstad are looking for a QS to work for a housing civils company on a permanent basis. Work is full time, 5 days a week, in Middlesbrough.
Must have housing or housing civils experience.
The Role
* GBP50k:60k per annum.
* Chasing client payments.
* Helping with general site admin.
* Measuring and quantifying materials for site.
* Organising meetings for site.
* Find out a clients needs and assess if the plans are feasible.
* Negotiate contracts and work schedules.
* Monitor sub:contractors and stages of construction.
* Report on costs and prepare accounts for payment.
* Keep up to date with construction methods and materials.
* Follow Health and Safety regulations.
* Strong understanding of forms of Contracts (NEC, JCT, etc.)
* Post Contract
* CVR/Reporting
* Contract Administration
* Change Control
* Strong Relationship Builder
* Good Communication
* Excel Skills
Requirements
* RICS / CICES accredited degree
* HND/HNC qualification
* Relevant healthcare experience
