Job Overview
As a Technical Support Administrator in Clinical Engineering, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of medical device management across the Trust.
This includes coordinating administrative processes, managing inventory and service records, liaising with clinical teams and suppliers, and supporting compliance with the department's Quality Management System. You will be the first point of contact for device‑related queries and help maintain accurate documentation for medical equipment.
Main Duties
* Coordinate the administrative function within the Clinical Engineering Department, ensuring support is available at all times.
* Assist with the updating and maintenance of Clinical Engineering records relating to Medical Devices and Medical Device Management.
* Support the wider technical team in related tasks.
Person Specification – Education, Qualifications & Training
* BTEC/NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline.
Desirable Education & Training
* Customer Services Course.
Person Specification – Experience
* Use of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to manage and report information.
Desirable Experience
* Advanced IT skills and use of specialist software.
