Salary: Pro Rata £11,929.28 - £12,264.45, £24,521.29 - £25,210.25 Full Time Equivalent per annum
Hours of work: 18 Hours per week, 52 Weeks per year, Part-Time, Permanent
About the role
The Learning Support Administrator reports to the Head of Learning Support and provides high‑quality administrative support to the Learning Support department. Responsibilities include managing the administrative workload of the service, supporting a range of tasks that enable an efficient and auditable record of the area, and facilitating effective communication across the college.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support across all four campuses.
* Arrange appointments and prepare for meetings and events.
* Type correspondence and prepare reports as required.
* Take minutes of cross‑college support meetings and distribute them.
* Maintain an effective filing system, both paper‑based and electronic, ensuring confidentiality when needed.
* Maintain procedural records and compile student and staff tracking documentation within Learning Support.
* Monitor processes, including SPLD, ISNs, and the Hold spreadsheet.
* Assist with planning the assessment of students with learning difficulties and disabilities before interviews for mainstream and discrete programmes.
* Participate in staff development programmes where appropriate.
* Support the administrative needs of the Learning Support Manager and SEND Team Leaders.
* Train and support the Learning Support Admin Apprentice.
* Undertake other duties as commensurate with the post.

Qualifications and Experience
* Evidence of commitment to professional development.
* Good standard of Maths and English.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Background in Education desirable.
