Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Part-Time Business Development Executive to join our Coventry team. This role is at the heart of our sales activity — speaking with customers every day, handling enquiries, following up leads, and ensuring projects run smoothly. The successful candidate will delight our customers through excellent service while driving new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with customers daily by phone and email, building strong and lasting relationships.
* Delight our customers by ensuring every interaction is helpful, professional, and timely.
* Record and manage customer interactions, leads, and sales opportunities using HubSpot CRM.
* Prepare proposals, documents, and reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Develop new business in our key sectors: universities, architects, house builders, HMO operators, and student landlords.
* Occasionally support project management, ensuring clear communication and smooth delivery for clients.
* Take ownership of the full sales process, from enquiry through to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in business development, sales, or customer service (B2B desirable).
* Excellent telephone communication skills and confidence speaking with customers.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (or similar systems) is an advantage.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Self-motivated, positive, and committed to delighting customers.
* Knowledge of, or interest in, bathrooms, construction, or housing sectors is beneficial.
* Experience using LinkedIn and social media for business development is advantageous.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed using personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement to be claimed from the company.
