We are currently recruiting for 2 Regional Partnerships Directors to join our team. The Regional Partnership Director will be responsible for implementing a regional place-based strategy for Digital Catapult that aligns to our organisational strategy. The roles will be based in one of our regional locations, 1 in Gateshead and 1 in Bristol, however the role will also be expected to develop partnerships in other regions and clusters.
WHAT YOU’LL DO (Duties)
* Strategic Leadership: Implement a regional strategy for Digital Catapult aligning with the organisation's overall ambition and goals.
* Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including public sector, industry leaders, innovative small companies and academic institutions.
* Innovation and Growth: Identify and develop opportunities for growth working with local partners, develop business cases, ideas and proposals.
* Engage and build relationships across public, private, and academic sectors.
Requirements
* A background in strategic communications, partnership and consortium building is essential in this role.
* Knowledge of regional innovation and economic policy is desirable.
* Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present ideas in order to influence decisions.
* Experience of working with public funders is also desirable.
