Job Description:
Your company: We are looking to recruit personable, organised and caring housing support workers. You will be assisting with the tenancy support of individuals exiting prison on the bail system. Improve the lives of service users by coordinating the provision of direct housing-related support and housing management services by working with area operational and central support teams and liaising with external agencies and partners. There may also be a requirement to work independently in the community and/or service setting. Please note, you will be working with individuals exiting the prison system on bail.
Your new role: Working closely with residents to manage their needs. This involves liaising with other agencies to help support their housing stability by assisting with finances and promoting independence. You will be completing activities to promote and build self-esteem, while ensuring residents adhere to bail and tenancy agreements. Typical shifts are from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with one evening and one Saturday every 6 weeks.
What you'll need to succeed: At least 6 months of experience in a social care role within the last 2 years is required. Experience in mental health, dealing with drug and alcohol abuse, and helping people with housing and benefits is desirable. Driving is essential for this role.

* A friendly, supportive office team available 24/7 via our on-call system
* Career progression opportunities
