We are seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Sunlight Children's Care to play a vital role in supporting our young people's emotional well-being and development, adapting to the PACE model and therapeutic parenting to align with our mission to foster safe and nurturing environments.
Hours of Work:56.5 hours per week/244.5 hours per month inclusive of sleeps (08:00-11:00 plus sleep and half an hour handover the next day 08:00-08:30).Working hours average at 10 shifts per month with the attendance of training and team meetings. The employee's shifts are based on a 3-week rolling rota working alongside their senior co worker.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Participating and engaging in activities to promote a supportive and enjoyable environment.
2. Maintaining a safe and clean home environment, including the completion of all domestic duties and providing home cooked meals.
3. Develop and implement individualized care plans, risk assessment tailored and key works to each young person's needs.
