About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. As a Multi‑Skilled Electrician, you'll be working in customers' homes, helping to maintain and improve housing stock, including upgrading older properties to modern standards. A big part of your work will focus on planned kitchen and bathroom programmes and carrying out all electrical work needed for upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and carrying out kitchen and bathroom electrical programmes
- Changing consumer units
- Testing and inspection work
- Wiring and rewiring tasks
- Carrying out repairs and improvements in occupied homes
Qualifications
- Strong experience in electrical repairs and maintenance
- Confident working in occupied homes and engaging with customers
- Ability to carry out testing, fault finding and installation work to a high standard
- Experience working in social housing or with older housing stock (ideal)
- Enjoys working as part of a team alongside other trades
Additional Practical Skills
- Basic plumbing, carpentry or plastering (valued)
Prerequisites
- Relevant electrical qualifications (see Job Description for details)
- Valid driving licence (a van will be provided)
Compensation & Benefits
- Full‑time permanent role (40 hours per week)
- Competitive salary of £38,974 per annum

- Basic DBS check covered by the employer

Location & Work Environment
Office base in Swansea with most work covering Neath Port Talbot to Haverfordwest. Monday to Friday working, with the option of compressed hours on a 9‑day fortnight.
