Your new opportunity Quarriers Paisley & Johnstone Supported Living Service is recruiting a full time Support Worker. We are on the lookout for people who are committed to providing person centred care and who thrive helping individuals with complex needs live fuller happy lives. As a Support Worker at Quarriers you will build long lasting trusting relationships with the people we support and align our organisational values and mission to all you do. You will assist people on a 1:2:1 basis in their daily lives, helping them cook, clean and take part in activities and hobbies they love to enjoy. Personal care will be involved and promoting independence while striving towards the goals and ambitions of each person. Working pattern: This is a full time permanent role offering 39 hours per week. Flexibility is essential as shifts will vary based on support that is deliver 24 hours 7 days per week to meet the needs of others. Weekends, evening and sleepover shifts will apply based on team rota. What you will need to be considered Compassion and kindness to support people in their day to day lives. Enthusiasm and self-motivation. Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals. Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes. Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener. Good IT & communication skills. A full valid UK driving licence is essential to be able to take people out for the day in their own car when required.
