An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Depute Head Teacher to join our Senior Leadership Team at Pinkie St Peter’s Primary School and Nursery; a vibrant and caring school community.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic and able to provide leadership in all aspects of school life. You will, in the first instance, be a leading professional with a proven track record of innovative teaching practice, high quality curriculum development and be committed to providing education of the highest quality. You will assist in the overall management of the school within the context of the leadership team.
Pinkie St Peter’s currently has 18 classes, with a role of 448 and our new nursery has 81 children and continues to grow. Job Details
The role of a Depute Head Teacher is to assist and, where necessary, to deputise for the Head Teacher as required. The role of the Head Teacher is, within the resources available, to conduct the affairs of the school to the benefit of the pupils and the community it serves, through pursuing objectives and implementing policies set by East Lothian Council under the overall direction of the Head of Education.
