Job Description
The primary objectives for the Maintenance Technician include:
* Assisting in the daily operation of the Site's Plant rooms.
* Overseeing contractors on site performing repairs or maintenance as directed by the Centre Management team.
* Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
* Supporting daily reactive maintenance tasks.
The Maintenance Technician will focus on the following daily tasks:
* Managing the Leisure Centre’s quality assurance systems and procedures.
* Performing maintenance tasks as required by the management team.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Maintaining the operation of the building and equipment.
* Liaising with duty managers to address technical issues promptly.
* Undertaking other duties as assigned to meet the business objectives.
The Candidate
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
* Prior experience in a maintenance role is essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) at an intermediate level.
* Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques.
* Awareness of Health and Safety regulations.
* Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.
* Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
* Problem-solving skills for handling unexpected maintenance issues.
* Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
* Adaptability to manage multiple priorities.
The successful candidate should demonstrate administrative abilities, with full training provided.
