Job Title: Lead Clinician
Location: The Shires Stretton / Oakham, Rutland, East Midlands LE15 7GT / LE15 6JB (covering both sites)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent (term-time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances)
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

The role: The Lead Clinician will manage the in-house Clinical Team at The Shires – Oakham / Stretton (Rutland). The postholder will work with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Regional Clinical Lead. The role combines clinical leadership of the team with a therapy caseload, delivering bespoke assessments and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs (autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, SEMH). EHCP needs will be a primary focus, using OFG’s all/group/individual clinical approaches. The Lead Clinician will coordinate line management and drive service development of the school-based clinical service, alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Requirements
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS)
* Experience with autistic individuals and/or pupils with complex needs
* Clear, concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to work dynamically within a growing clinical service
* Experience of multi-professional work within the designated specialty (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
