Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to oversee our two Carlisle Extra Care services, Heysham Gardens and Burnside Court. Both are well-established and highly regarded, with vibrant care teams providing compassionate support to older adults. The services operate during the day with support cover and offer waking night support as needed. They are registered with the CQC for Personal Care, maintaining high standards and consistent quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Fulfill the role of registered manager with the CQC.
2. Meet expectations of local authority commissioners and uphold the 'Good' rating with the CQC.
3. Lead staff to provide high standards of customer care and person-centred service.
4. Manage operations and supervise Deputy Manager and Support Workers.
5. Work with families, agencies, and Housing Scheme Managers to foster positive relationships.
6. Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with care standards.
7. Respond to referrals, undertake assessments, and develop personalized care plans.
Requirements
* At least three years of management experience in care for older adults.
* Experience in staff supervision and management.
* Skills in contract and relationship management.
* A warm, caring, and person-centred approach.
* Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude.
