Overview
As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our successful Residential Development team. You will be a core member of the team working on large multi-disciplinary strategic land residential development projects.
Your relationships with Clients, Advisors, internal and external design team members and Contractors are critical to the success of our business. Your ability to build relationships and to develop and maintain a collaborative team ethos amongst the parties to each project is crucial. You should be an effective communicator with well-developed personal and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
* Plan and successfully execute projects
* Understand and interpret the scope of each project
* Plan and agree project deliverables
* Provide appropriate advice on the management of projects
* Manage project information within a Common Data Environment
* Risk and change management
* Establish capital budget parameters
* Administer industry standard contracts including the NEC4 suite of contracts
* Understand and implement quality management processes
* You will also have the opportunity to support Tetra Tech’s portfolio of projects in different sectors, other than residential
* Report to the Director of Project Management and work alongside internal and external design team members
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience delivering projects to meet client requirements in programme, budget and quality standards; experience on highway, drainage and/or utility infrastructure projects (preferable in the residential sector)
* Experience managing stakeholder requirements of key organisations (e.g., Council Highway Authorities, Local Councils, water companies, utility companies, Environment Agency, Natural England and/or National Highways) to deliver developments
* Accredited NEC3 or NEC4 Project Management status (advantageous)
* Autonomous and collaborative work style (able to work independently and as part of project teams)
* Ideally a recognised qualification in Project Management or in a complementary field such as Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or Engineering
* Membership of a recognised professional body or working towards full membership (e.g., MAPM, RICS) is advantageous

You will report to the Director of Project Management and work alongside internal and external design team members.
