Overview
We are seeking a People Experience Specialist to take ownership of our Employee Listening programmes and People & Culture (P&C) communications, ensuring our workforce feels connected, motivated, and informed. In this role, you will act as the subject matter expert for Employee Listening and Employee Engagement, managing surveys and feedback programmes that capture and respond to the voice of our people. You will also lead on digital pre-boarding initiatives, helping to create a seamless and engaging experience for staff before they even join the organisation. By driving meaningful communication and engagement, you will play a central role in building a culture where colleagues feel valued, heard, and inspired to succeed. This position offers scope to shape key initiatives and influence how we connect with and support our people.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a comprehensive employee engagement strategy aligned to organisational goals
* Design and manage programmes across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement surveys and exit
* Lead survey administration, data management, analysis and insight reporting for leadership and key stakeholders
* Create engaging content for newsletters, intranet, leadership updates and employee campaigns
* Collaborate with P&C, leadership and cross-functional teams to deploy tailored communication platforms and initiatives
* Act as a trusted advisor on employee sentiment, engagement trends and best practices
* Track and report on key engagement metrics, providing insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
* Proven HR, employee engagement or internal communications experience in a similar role
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
* Experience managing organisation-wide engagement initiatives and surveys (e.g. Qualtrics or similar tools)
* Skilled in data analysis, reporting and providing actionable insights
* Familiar with communication platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint or Staffbase
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across functions
* Organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities with a creative, solutions-focused approach
