Operations and Compliance Manager, Basingstoke
We are seeking an experienced Operations and Compliance Manager to join our client, BWD Search & Selection, in Basingstoke. This role involves leading compliance and operational processes within a values-led financial advice business that is focused on building smarter, more effective ways of working.
The successful candidate will:
* Lead day-to-day compliance activities, support SMF16/17, handle regulatory matters, risk reviews, and complaints confidently.
* Oversee paraplanning and admin teams, ensuring high-quality output, workflow efficiency, and adherence to SLAs.
* Shape and embed operational and compliance processes that are pragmatic and fit-for-purpose.
* Monitor regulatory changes, update internal policies, and deliver relevant training.
* Act as a bridge between compliance, operations, and commercial strategy to drive continuous improvement.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Experience in IFA compliance and the confidence to own it.
