At King Ina C of E Academy, we are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to lead and support the learning environment within our academy. You will be required to support the learning environment and the delivery of lessons through work set by teachers and prepared by yourself.
This rewarding role will suit someone with experience of working with a range of young people and who has knowledge of different teaching styles to engage all students. You will possess a working knowledge of school pastoral systems and be highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
You will:
· Be required to support the learning environment and the delivery of lessons through work set by teachers.
· Be a reflective practitioner
· Be prepared to work across different age groups
· Be solution focused and positive in meeting the social and emotional needs of our young people and open to innovative ways of working
· Have the ability, drive and resilience to nurture the emotional health and well-being of young people
· Contribute to resourcing of the curriculum
· Organise and run intervention programmes
· Teach lessons across the whole curriculum
· Have successful experience in a school setting
