We’re looking to offer a salary of 38,000, and 23 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Identify cost-saving initiatives and implement corrective actions where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of the warehouse operation
* Demonstrate and promote a customer-focused approach to all warehouse activities
* Responsible for monitoring and reporting on target expectations and achievements through standard reporting processes
* Create and maintain a positive team atmosphere and inclusive culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all colleagues
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Experience leading a large team of warehouse colleagues within a large fast paced and FMCG environment
* Strong IT skills, including warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Previous experience in a role focussing on continuous improvement would be advantageous
