Personal Assistant (Kirkintilloch)
We are looking for a caring and reliable personal assistant to support a gentleman who is a wheelchair user living in Kirkintilloch. The role involves helping him attend social and leisure activities, such as coffee or lunch outings, and supporting his love of photography by attending exhibitions.
The gentleman is mostly independent with personal care, so minimal support is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in organising and attending social and leisure activities.
* Support the gentleman in pursuing photography and attendance at exhibitions.
* Provide general assistance to facilitate independent living.
Working Conditions
* 8 hours per week (2 shifts).
* Afternoon and/or early evening availability required.
* Driver with licence required.
* £14.50 per hour.
* PVG Scheme membership required by successful applicant.
Qualifications and Experience
* No previous care experience required; training will be provided.
* Willingness to accept applicants without prior care experience.
* Legal employment: you will be employed directly by a private employer on a PAYE basis and entitled to statutory rights.
