Care Solicitor (2+ PQE)
Location: Cheshire (Crewe area), hybrid working
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
A well-established and reputable law firm in Cheshire is seeking to recruit a solicitor to join its growing Care Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 2+ years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and experienced team.
The Role
You will handle a varied caseload of public law children matters, including:
* Pre-proceedings and care proceedings
* Advice on Special Guardianship Orders
* Foster care and adoption matters
There may also be some crossover with private family law work, including:
* Private Children Act proceedings
* Non-molestation orders
Requirements
* Experience in care/public children law
* Ability to manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision
* Strong client care and advocacy skills
