Due to continued growth here at the Farrall's Group, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in our BRCGS accredited storage facility, providing a first class loading and unloading service to ensure that delivery vehicles are loaded in a safe and timely manner, plus ensuring all administrative duties are complete on time and to a high standard. This will be a predominantly lone working role, working 7am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will have a current FLT licence and supervisory/Administration experience
£30,000.00 per annum salary
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining the security of the warehouse on entry and exit
* Carrying out the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods as per customer requirements
* Instructing on-site movements of drivers, to ensure safe working practices and efficient operation of depot.
* Ensuring stock is stored in appropriate conditions and rotated in accordance with customer requirements.
* Assisting with the receiving and loading of trunk, collection, and delivery vehicles
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck (must hold a license and competent)
* Ensuring that all loads are checked and meet the customers' required standards before dispatch.
* Moving supplies to storage areas
* Picking and packing orders
* Liaising with customers and answering any queries
* Carrying out daily checks of equipment and premises and ensuring others have done required checks.
* Highlighting any damage to stock, equipment, and premises
* Stock Maintenance, including cycle and stock takes in accordance with Company procedure.
* To cover for other areas as required
* To follow all Health and Safety requirements and to adhere to all Company's procedures and policies.
* To enter data from customers onto IT systems
* To work flexible hours to suit the demands and needs of the business and cover for holidays / sickness.
* Scheduling of dispatches from warehouse
* Booking in deliveries and collections
* Ensuring that all drivers have all the necessary paperwork and information to carry out their duties.
* Keep up to date with legislation.
* Awareness of relevant industry storage guidelines and T&C's (ISO / UKWA / CILT UK / BRCGS etc.)
* Responsible for upholding the company's adherence to the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution, and maintaining product safety, legality, and quality systems in relation to BRCG
