About The Role

The role involves project management activities across the project lifecycle, including preparing bids and providing post‑project support. The salary for this role is up to £64k, depending on experience. The role will be based at either the Barnstaple or Bristol sites and allows flexible working.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, schedule and manage projects, tasks and work packages, taking responsibility for outcomes, budget, quality and timescales.
* Allocate and manage tasks with delivery teams, holding regular meetings to track progress – including meetings with customers and subcontractors.
* Identify, manage and track project risks and opportunities, maintaining registers of Customer Furnished Equipment/Information and customer dependencies. Ensure project documentation is correctly configuration controlled.
* Provide project and bid support on more complex projects, preparing bids and post‑project support.
Qualifications & Experience
* APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.
* Excellent communicator with effective change and conflict management skills.
* Proven knowledge and experience of all phases of a project in a military environment.
* Knowledge of project management competencies, including financial management, risk and opportunity management, and supplier/subcontractor project management.
* Hands‑on experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, risk registers, etc., including advanced features.
* Strong problem‑solving abilities, proactive approach to achieving results.
