INDMID SEND Teaching Assistant – Speech & Language Support – Nuneaton
Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire • Contract Type: Full-time • Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 language and communication support for a child with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).
* Implement SALT strategies under guidance from therapists.
* Use visual timetables, communication boards and scaffolding.
* Encourage participation in class and social activities.
* Track and report progress towards targets.
About You / Qualifications
* Experience supporting children with SLCN, ASC, or developmental delay.
* Good communication and patience.
* Familiarity with PECS, Makaton or similar (desirable).
* Committed to inclusive practice.
